• Health Starts Early

Welcome to North Bay Pediatrics! We hope you look around our website to find answers to any questions about our practice or your child’s health care.

We started North Bay Pediatrics in 1984 with a vision to provide comprehensive, specialized medical care for infants, children and adolescents. We’ve rapidly grown to be the largest independent pediatric group in Solano County with eight experienced pediatricians, a dedicated, caring staff and one full-time office. In spite of our growth, we strive to make each child’s care and experience our first priority.

  • "I had a great first visit there. Our toddler was shy but Dr. Wang made her smile and even played with her. She received a shot and physical for school and did a good job. The waiting area and office area are clean and the wait was not long at all."

  • "Dr. Tanaka is excellent. She is caring and her follow up is unbelievable. She directs you to the best specialists from here to San Francisco if needed. Highly recommend her!"
  • "Dr Tanaka has been a wonderful MD to my daughter, She has been on spot with her diagnosis and been supportive during difficult times in a young girls coming of age difficulties. It is unfortunate that my daughter is turning 18 and we will have to leave Dr. Tanaka's care. I highly recommend her to anyone who has a brought a beautiful child in the world who needs a MD they can trust"
  • "We Love, Love, Love the Staff at Northbay Pediatrics in Vallejo. Everyone is Super Friendly and there Receptionist Samantha is Great with Everyone that Walks in the Door. Very Friendly and My Daughter Loves Her, Probably Because She's Very Cool because of Her "Frozen" Scrubs. Our Girls Doctor is Dr. Sophie Lay. She is the #1 Reason we Drive to Vallejo is just to Be Taken Care of by Her. I'm Sure all there Doctor's are Great but She is Special. She Makes Sure to Take Her Time and Answer All and Any Questions we Have. She is Very Gentle and Really Gives Us All the Educated Knowledge We Need. She is an Amazing Doctor and Really Has Passion for What She Does and Treats Every Child with Special Care. The Entire Staff is Great with the Children and Even thou There is a Northbay Pediatrics in Benicia, and it's Much Closer. We Choose to Come Here for this Great Clinic and Wonderful People."
    Keith Q.
  • "We've been seeing Dr. Toy since my baby was 5 months old and we had just moved to California. Dr. Toy is super attentive and thorough with her examinations, she takes the time to explain and make sure you don't leave with any questions. She discovered a small heart murmur on my baby and referred us to a specialist. The front desk staff member Jennifer has always been super friendly to us and detail oriented when it comes to our scheduled appointments, and or any tasks that have to do with our Tricare processes. If there's anything pending that I need to know, they'll take the time to call me and thoroughly explain the situation. I am very thankful with everyone at North Bay Pediatrics."
    Miriam C.
  • "I absolutely love this place. Dr. Martin is the best. The first time I drove down there, I was a little worried but now, I refuse to take my son anywhere else. We had La Clinica before and they were ok (some of the time) there availability for a doctor appointment was always at least a month out. I can call North Bay at 8:32am and get a same day appointment. The entire staff is friendly and supportive. I only have one complaint...it seems like they never run the air. That being said, I highly highly highly recommend this place."
    Andrea L.
  • "Dr. Hansen has been great to us! She bonded with my son and she was very informative. She takes the time to load you with information and explains what to expect. As a new parent I definitely need this because sometimes I don't know what to ask. She wants to know about your child and carefully handles newborns. I had a great experience!"
    Nia T.
  • "Best doctors office around, Everyone that works here are just lovely people. They Have gotten us in with same day apt even with our busy schedules. Everyone that works there are kind, thoughtful, listen to everything you have to say and when it comes to our little ones being sick we usually have a lot of concerns. I've seen two different doctors and both of them took their time answered every question I had. Made sure we walked out of there on the road to feeling better."
    Justine R.
  • "This place as been nothing but a pleasure. I have been taking my kids here for all their medical needs for the last 3 years. All the support staff and doctors have been awesome and go that extra mile to make sure the kids feel at ease and calm all that anxiety that comes when seeing a doctor"
    Brian K.
  • "I have had the best experience at North Bay Pediatrics! My daughter is 3 months old and we have seen both Dr Tanaka and Dr Winston. Both are amazing! They are patient with me, a first time mom, who has a lot of worries and are great my with daughter. I appreciate that both Drs are not so quick to jump to taking medication. They help you try natural methods to help your child before resorting to meds. The ladies at the front desk are also wonderful! I would recommend their office to anyone."
    Amanda B.
  • "I was nervous about looking for a pediatrician for my newborn so I was very happy and thankful to find this office was covered by my insurance. Thanks to the reviews here on yelp, I set up an appointment with Dr. Martin. She was very thorough and made sure all my 'first time mom' questions were answered. At our second appointment (2 months old) she even got a big old smile out of my baby boy. So happy to have a great pediatrician who cares and takes time with her patients."
    Kimberly W.
  • "We love this office. Dr. Tallman is great. Very calm and patient with my little ones. The ladies at front are great too. Jennifer is always happy and helpful. We recently had some issues with our new doctor and transfer of records....Jennifer was very patient and was on top of the matter."

    Amanda J.
  • "Dr. Hanson is extremely knowledgeable while being respectful of the parents and loving with her patients. She has smart tricks to help get kids to cooperate. I even asked her to give my then 3yo a pep talk on a hygiene issue, which she did beautifully (and my daughter has remembered her advice to this day!). She also has a sense of humor and is very encouraging to new moms and moms of newborns when going through those stressful first weeks."
